Features and Benefits

  • The SC1B bench waste station has a solid construction in stainless steel. It has been designed to reduce the mass of the food waste by up to 55/60% and its volume by up to 80/85%. Thanks to the fine mesh of its screen filter (1,5 mm. O holes) it allows the collection of greater waste levels improving, at the same time, the quality of the "grey water" going to drain (less suspended solids), aiding local water authority approval. The unit has a self cleaning operation controlled by the PLC (LOGO Siemens) which undertakes a thorough clean ensuring that no food and grease stays in the unit, reducing the labour time required to operate it. The cleaning operation can be also activated by the staff at the end of each shift working or when required. The unit is equipped with a photoelectric cell which prevents the running of the unit if the waste outlet bin is not positioned within the footprint. The SC1B waste station is designed to process food leftovers of any kind and biodegradable and recyclable items in typical "table quantities". Papers, cardboard and small bones should be collected separately, but in small quantities can be processed. Large bones cannot be processed by the unit. The unit is designed to operate in continuous feed working cycle in clean-up area of commercial establishments' kitchens.
